Mexico

This summer our Schultz family vaca was to Mexico!!  We are a family that LOVES the beach and who can complain when you are headed to Mexico!  It was so much fun, relaxing, and the kids always love getting to spend non stop play days with their grandparents!  They love love love to wear them out ;)And the grandparents love to spoil the kids!  We did lots of relaxing by the beach, playing on the water slides, eating, and building sand castles!  Mason loved Cancun….the waves were high and he loved trying to jump and surf them!  Madelyn likes the more calm waters, but had a great time digging in the sand and playing on the Pirate ship with DD.  Their most favorite this summer was their TATTOOS!  This vacation was the beginning of many fun tattoos and hair braiding for Madelyn.  Mason had a blast sky riding with Daddio in this car parasail…something neither of them had done before and they both loved it!  Madelyn and I had fun swimming with the dolphins!  Mason wanted to just watch, but Madelyn loved petting them and giving them kisses :) Each summer we look forward to our next family vacation with the Schultz crew!

Freeport, Bahamas

This May we took our annual family vacation with my family to the Bahamas.  Let me say…MY PARENTS MADE IT OUT OF THE COUNTRY IN ONE PIECE…they had never been out of the US and why not make the Bahamas their first stop :)  Our family LOVES.LOVES.LOVES the beach!  We all arrived safely and were ready for some fun and relaxation (as much relaxing you can do with kiddos) on the beautiful beaches of the Bahamas!  We spent the days swimming, building sandcastles, collecting fallen coconuts, and much more.  The nights were spent trying our hand at blackjack :) One morning we took a boat to see the pirate ship they taped the first movie Pirates of the Caribbean on and to see dolphins.  Mason loved seeing the ship…we even got to walk around on it…it was a little creaky and OLD and even smaller than I imagined…but very cool to see.  And of course the dolphins never disappoint…saw them do several tricks…Madelyn’s favorite :)  We also parasailed.   I was supposed to go with my dad, but the wind was not blowing too hard so we had to end up going by ourselves :( but it was still so much fun…always a fav of mine.  However, the next evening Jenny and I decided to parasail and we got to ride together…it was a major accomplishment getting my sister up there ;)  We also jet skied around the resort.  All the kids had a blast with Nanny and Papa and we were sad to have our trip come to an end…but we will for sure be excited to where our next adventure will lead us!
